Velcro Mary, any opinion on American Fender bass vs the Mexican ones? In terms of recording...- Tommy Lee drumming on a Smashing Pumpkins album? Interesting...

I know I've told you this before, but "Home" kills so hard. It's so catchy. I play it a few times in a row when I want to hear it. I know you said that was the old good song from back then, but, are you ure that's true? If there's more, I wanna hear it.
P.s. New pet rock stuff soon.- A random listener reviews "Smoke": "I love the darness in the music and the voice is good but the songs a little low in sound... i like the elements of the music and the lyrics. His voice sounds sexy lol The song sounds like a hit to me "
- New Guitar (5 foto's)Sweetwater does this cool thing where they photograph some of the guitars from a bunch of different angles so you can see the exact one you're ordering. This beauty is on the way and will be here by the end of the week. I'd like to thank the blackjack table at the Isle of Capri Casino in Bettendorf, Iowa for making this possible.
- A random listener reviews "Something In My Eye": "This track is a nice pop punk influenced rock song. The introduction comes in with a punchy, crunching riff and gives way to the poppy vocals. The singer does a good job of combining a pop style with punk and alternative. This gives the song a unique quality that, combined with the minimal studio processing, makes this song flow organically. There isn't a great deal of vocal harmony, but it works because the singer's pitch matches the guitar wonderfully. The lyrics are simple but catchy. The hook is quick and easy to pick up on yet tuneful and expressive. Overall, good song for alternative radio."
- A random listener reviews "Something In My Eye": "I thought that the song started out with a high octane guitar track that was very energetic and robust. I thought that there was a huge, explosive burst of energy that accompanied this song at the outset. The band seemed to be trying to put forth all their electricity to make this song come to fruition. I felt that they were trying to create a pun...k rock kind of vibe, but everyone knows that punk is a dead art form. Regrettably, the singer's voice was very nasally, and I did not like his tone or timbre. I thought that he sounded very immature, and the song lacked polish and poise. I suppose that it was meant to be rough around the edges, especially with the heavily distorted guitars and all, but the song was too similar in composition and makeup to other juvenile rock songs out there." - VELCRO MARY CHRISTMAS!
- A random listener reviews "Something In My Eye": "The song starts off really fast which is quite attention grabbing. The melody is somewhat interesting. Vocally is isn't great at all and needs more effort. Lyrically its clear but is boring also. The instruments are well balanced and sound good mixed together. I'm not sure if this artist will be remembered but decent song."
- A random listener reviews "Something In My Eye": "Good build up in the song. Old school sounding pop rock like Blink 182, always works well. Nice tone to the voice which works well with this genre of music. Very good drum beat to the song. Instantly had my head nodding and got my approval."

Have yourself a Velcro Mary little Christmas. Listen to this while your chestnuts are roasting on an open fire.- A random listener reviews "Ghost": "The heavy guitar and the marilyn manson like male vocals makes this song horrible. The lyrics sound very violent. You can barely tell what the singer is singing about. The only thing that makes sense about this song is the song melody. It's almost a song you would have a mosh pit for at a concert. I wouldn't recommend this song and it needs alot of work."
- A random listener reviews "Smoke": "Really annoying intro with a saw synth line and then we're into some alternative acoustic format. The mix highlights some boring aspects of the musical elements. The vocals are hard to follow. Repetitive vocals, "two things move in a straight line" can only be assumed to have cryptic meaning to the writer since all other lyrics are buried in mix and indiscernible. This is some bad byproduct of grunge, alternative, and electronic music. To boring to gather a big following."
