The results are in, and I unfortunately have to announce that we did not win. I want to congratulate Senator Jim Carlson on his win. I also want to thank everyone who has supported, volunteered, and donated to our cause. I've been blessed to meet so many wonderful people over the course of this campaign. I encourage you all not to be discouraged, and to keep fighting for the causes that you believe in.
I voted today. Have you?

This election is coming up quickly, rain or shine. I was out knocking on doors in Eagan yesterday, despite the rainy weather!
It's been an honor to meet so many of you who are concerned about the direction Minnesota is going. The election is under two weeks away and we need your help to make it across the finish line. Please consider making a contribution today, even if it is just a few dollars. These last donations will help us get our message out to voters by allowing us to advertise on cable television and online -- and every cent counts!
The MNsure crisis, with rates increasing 50-67% next year, was created by Senator Carlson's votes. Middle class Minnesotans are getting crushed with high health care premiums. I will provide solutions to get Minnesotans the healthcare coverage they need at a cost they can afford.
MNsure has become such a large disaster that even its biggest supporters can't deny the problem. After leading the effort to push it through, Gov. Dayton finally admits that MNsure isn't working.
My opponent voted in favor of implementing MNsure, forcing this failed program on Minnesota families, and creating chaos in our healthcare system.
Thank you to everyone who came out this morning to support our campaign. It was great to see so many people excited about the election this November. Huge thank you to Governor Tim Pawlenty, Senate Minority Leader David Hann, and MNGOP Chairman Keith Downey for coming to speak at our event.
Also, a BIG thank you to Otis, the owner of local business La Fonda De Los Lobos, for opening his restaurant up early for us!
MNsure rates are about to climb 67% and Rep. Paul Thissen wants to know where Republicans have been the past two years. The answer is that we've been warning everyone that this would happen. MNsure passed without a single Republican vote. The legislature must act to address the growing healthcare crisis in our state.
