We noticed that some health "experts" seem to be copying our content ideas AND even our photos (LOL) in order to sell their weight loss products or pills.
We will NEVER sell out and promote a weight loss product or pills. This is not what we are about....
Most of the time, these weight loss products are processed with harmful, deadly chemicals and synthetics..GROSS! There are in fact a root of most problems.
We focus on food (whole foods, plants, herbs, spices).
Sometimes, we post an article about digestive enzymes and probiotics, because we use them when we make fermented kefir, yogurt, or sauerkraut. Other times, we talk about teas, like matcha tea that we love to drink... and that's it. All of our recipes are made out of whole food ingredients, herbs, and spices.
We believe in clean eating (not obsessing about calories) is the foundation of great health.

// A Tiger Doesn’t Lose Sleep Over The Opinion Of Sheep //
It's important to take on the mindset of a tiger because you will very likely come across many sheep. These sheep/people are the ones that exhibit flock-like behavior, they have the same opinion as everyone else. While once and a while their opinions might be useful, nine times out of ten they are not. Some examples of sheep behavior include people telling you things like:...
1. “You’re not smart/tall/experienced enough to do something like that.”
People that say this kind of thing to you are people that have given up on themselves. These kinds of people feel it is necessary to bring you down in order to validate their shortcomings. It’s important to not listen to this kind of thing; a tiger has bigger, more important, things to think about.
2. “No one is liking what you do, so you should stop doing it.”
This is the one of the more difficult types of sheep behavior to deal with. I mean, if the feedback isn’t good for what you are doing, then it feels like you should give up.
Let’s look at how a tiger would deal with this. Does a tiger care about what the sheep thinks of its technique? No. Does a tiger get better at what it likes doing by doing it more and more? Hell yes.
You get better at doing what you do by doing it. Just about every famous person in history were once people that got told what they were doing was not well received. If they stopped, we wouldn’t have Apple. We wouldn’t have Ford. We wouldn’t have electricity.
Tigers take action, despite the fact that it may not be a favorable one. Life is like a jungle — it’s about survival.
The next time you hear an opinion that is something you’ve heard time and time again, ignore it. If you follow popular opinion, you will be sucked into the massive flock of sheep. And then when it comes to giving an opinion of your own, you won’t have anything relevant to say other than “baaaaaa.”

“When I gain weight, it goes straight to my middle.” This is so annoying; do you feel like that too?
There is type of fat called, visceral fat, sits deep within the abdominal area, surrounding the organs. This is the kind of fat that’s considered especially harmful. When people gain weight, it often increases their amount of visceral fat. That’s one reason a diet that’s too high in simple carbs is problematic.
Here is what we learned: It is best to limit your consumption of r...efined carbs and eat more high-fiber foods instead, such as oats, beans, and sweet potatoes.
So replace unhealthy carbs with healthier carbs and see the belly melt away. It seems obvious, but many people forget it and we sometimes need a friendly reminder!

// It's Sunday and it's time to plan your week and take things to another level!
Below we are going to share a few things to help you quickly and effectively plan the new week by sharpening your intuition. Overall, it is the key to great decisions and ideas. Here is how:
1. UNPLUG. Set aside time to think without distractions. This lets you be more observant and open to seeing new solutions....
2. ASK YOURSELF QUESTIONS. Then get comfortable with uncertainty as you move toward your intuitive answers. Constantly questions why things are the way they are and how you could change them or make them better will help you find the right answer or approach.
3. FOLLOW THE FEAR. It’s always scary to take a leap of faith, but remember that you have to risk failure in order to succeed at anything. The purpose of fear on the journey of discovery is to signal that we might just be on to something worth working toward.

My high school friend that I recently reconnected with told me this over the phone:
“I do a lot of ab exercises but still can’t see my abs. I think none of this is working for me”
It reminded me of the time when I felt like that. I often complained about my abs not showing up, but then I learned that I was doing the WRONG type of exercises....
Have you felt that your exercises are not giving you the results that you want?
People tend to obsess about their belly pooch, cutting foods and adding moves to try to flatten things out.
Guess what: that focus may not be such a bad thing.
Research shows that storing excess weight in the midsection is particularly unhealthy, as it’s linked to diabetes and heart disease (more on that to come).
Still, no matter how motivated we are, we can’t help feeling frustrated when the bulge just won’t budge. We created a guide to help you troubleshoot these exact issues and see real transformation.

A common mistake that people make is that they train the abs in isolation. The abdominal area is small, so just doing ab exercises isn’t going to burn many calories, which is necessary to shed the fat hiding those muscles.
So here is our advice, FOCUS ON THE WHOLE BODY. You’ll burn more calories by doing cardio two or three days a week and moderate to high intensity resistance training two or three days a week. This doesn’t necessary mean that you need to exercise for hours! What this means that you need to exercise more intelligently.
