Originally from Brooklyn, NY, I am a Floridian since 1990. In 1975 I received a BS in Communication Arts from Cornell University. Subsequently I studied Medicine in Guadalajara, Mexico, in Spanish, and finished my medical school training in 1979 at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
