Hi, everybody from facebook, I'm gonna wait for a little bit while I get out of my car. I'm visiting some of our polling locations here in district, 99 just to check on folks in line and also uh field any concerns um which I already run into one. We have one of our um polling places that was on Jimmy Carter at the John wesley methodist methodist church has changed the location and it's now, at five 59 uh live brooklyn Park way at some the metro seven, at seven administer church, um just give us a call and let us know if you have any concerns at 6789 zero nine 90 36 789 zero. Nine 90 30 and um. What basically, I wanna let you know, we're I'm here at one of our polling places uh. What I want everyone to know is that, regardless of how long the lines are, if there's been any technical issues at any of your um polling places to make sure to stay in line and wait um if you absolutely have to leave you can always request am provisional The paper ballot um, but do not leave with out either that provisional ballot being cast or if not wait in line for some of these issues, they have are are being resolved. That believe in the process of being resolved, mostly um and all I need all I wanna do is encourage you to stay in that line and if you remember, if you get there by 7 PM you will vote and so make sure that you get in that line by 7 PM and go out and stay there um if you haven't Any questions or concerns about voting, including a ride to the polls, um what id to take mini for state issued photo id uh. Any concerns I'll be about being on the pending list. Whatever you have feel free to reach out to us also, you can call the voter protection hotline number which is 18887 30 50 - eight 16 that's 187 30 50 - eight 16 feel For any concerns that you have or any questions that you have for voting and um, I know we've seen a little bit um some new, some items about some issues we've had here in gwinnett County. Do not let that dissuade. You from stay in line and going to your polling places um. Let that be an incentive to make sure that you go out and cast your vote today if you have not already and um again I'm gonna read out that hotline number again that's 18887 30 50 - eight 16 that's voter protection hotline make sure you give us a call and um thank you for the folks that are going into the facebook live and thank you so much for those that Saying they've already voted for me, I truly appreciate um that vote of confidence and so I hope to be able to continue to serve you in the session coming up um in January after our special session in November and we have a lot of great folks that are running for office. Obviously in the back one of which would be our County, Commissioner, sign is Ben cool um here for uh County district to, for County Commission. Another great person that's running for office. We have a lot of great individuals that are running and it takes a lot of work, not on Um as the candidates running because we choose to do so, but quite frankly, the thanks and appreciation goes out to all the folks that contribute. One dollar, two dollars. 20 600 dollars, whatever amount and also those that volunteer and knock on doors with us make those calls make those text messages and I know a lot of people have seen messages about you know I'm trying I wish you would stop receiving these text messages, but think about it. This way. Some volunteer is taking that afternoon that evening that weekend out of your other time to remind you to tell you where your voting location is so let's actually be thankful and appreciate For all those volunteers that are willing to do that work for, for our democracy because that's really the reason why they do it and so again, I wanna thank everybody that has already voted for me here in district. 99. I appreciate that and um you know we'll we'll be and I'll be back on facebook, live again to once we get official results, but remember we have a great candidates from Ben ku here in County Commission to stacey abrams that's gonna be our next governor, but all of these concerns. We have about Polling places and having technical issues about what we've seen unfortunately from Secretary of state's office, all of those the best and only strategy to make sure that we say no to those actions and ensure that we don't continue having that sort of administration of our processes and our government agencies is quite simple. Vote voting is what is going to help us minimize those problems because we're gonna have new people um that we're going to that we're gonna actually seek to fix those issues and concerns so the other Thing that I, wanna address you know. I had a couple of messages about well. Our vote. You know, doesn't matter or it's not impact folder is just one vote. Remember, remember that if our vote did not matter, especially in this election, that we have now for governor um for stacey abrams. If our votes did not matter, there would be no reason to have so many tactics um being done to try to suppress people from voting to try to distance disincentivized people from voting so please remember I'm gonna um handout the voter Protection hotline number again in case anyone has any questions concerns or you know of anyone that has questions or concerns.
