This past weekend, our #profellows in Seattle had a chance to volunteer with the Footloose Sailing Association, a sailing program for people with all disabiliti...es, their friends, families, and caregivers. They spent the day setting up registration tents, preparing boats for sail, and helping register sailors. After volunteering, they had a chance to sail in one of the sailboats along the Puget Sound. We talked about how storytellers can connect and partner effectively with community groups, how to fund such collaborations, and how to measure success.

We recently said goodbye to the visitors on the "Our Planet: Wildlife Conservation, Combating Trafficking and Poaching" #IVLP program. Participants from 12 diff...erent countries met with wildlife conservation specialists and law enforcement professionals in Washington, D.C.; Augusta, Maine; Bozeman, Montana; Seattle; and Miami; and had the opportunity to visit four national parks: Acadia, Yellowstone, North Cascades, and the Everglades. In their free time, visitors relaxed on the beach in Miami and were treated to home hospitality dinners in Augusta and Bozeman. It was a great three weeks and we can't wait to see what's next for our visitors!
