UPDATE - The Recreation Complex is now open!
A water main break late last night knocked out the water to the Webster Groves Recreation Complex. Until further notice, it will be necessary to close the Recreation Complex for the health and safety of our patrons. The hotline at (314) 963-5670, will be updated as soon as it is open. We apologize for the inconvenience.
City Hall is closed on Monday, January 15, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. day and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16. Trash, yard waste, and recycling will be collected on the regular schedule this week.
This Sunday is the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration. It begins at 4:30 p.m. with a march from City Hall to Steger. A bus shuttle, provided by the Webster Groves School District to transfer marchers from the Steger parking lot to the Webster Groves City Hall, will make its first departure from Steger at 4 p.m.
FYI - Margaret-Atalanta Park is closed until further notice due to ice conditions.
The water line running through Margaret-Atalanta Park is cracked and has flooded parts of the park, resulting in a pop-up ice-rink. For safety reasons, the park is closed until further notice and will be repaired as soon as possible.
Missouri American Water is dealing with a number of water main breaks in various areas of the County, including the City of Webster Groves. See their posting below for information on how to contact them to report an issue.
Providing a further status update on St. Louis County operations, below is a list of known water main breaks as of the evening of Dec. 31. If you are aware of a...ny breaks not listed below, please contact us at: 866-430-0820. Otherwise, we will address each break as quickly and safely as we can through the night and into tomorrow. We are unable to give an ETA on repairs. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused on a holiday weekend, and we ask for your patience as we do our best to address them all.

Meet Preston Jackson the artist who will be commissioned to create an 11-foot bronze sculpture that will celebrate the rich history of the African American community of north Webster and the neighborhood around Barbre Park. Design and purchase you own engraved memorial brick that will be located along the future pathways in Barbre Park. Donations will be used to fund the sculpture and its installation.
