Good morning to all. I just want to congratulate Robin Lejeune for winning the mayoral election last night for Daphne. Robin was by far the best candidate and Daphne is in great hands with Robin being mayor the next 4 years. Robin had to beat Catalyst who represented Carey, then the Carey group hired another consultant 2 weeks ago to help even more, then the common sense tea party went in against Robin. Thank you to everyone that joined the fight to get Robin elected and than...k you to Sean Gibbs, mine and Robins campaign manager. Sean has worked tirelessly the past few months, great job Sean. Robin was outspent by $45k and still won. I am so tired of these groups that try to control all the elections and put people in positions that they have no need to be in. Like a Steve Carey or a Bill Hightower. These guys just take and take and will never be the right choice for our areas. We are blessed that Jerry Carl won the Republican Congressional seat and that Robin won the mayoral seat for Daphne. These are two good men that will take care of our area for years to come. One last item that really upset me was for a candidate to paint a building pink to raise votes. This was a ploy to get more votes and it should not have happened. For the ones of us that know people or have known people with breast cancer we are put off by what Carey did to try and get votes. Congratulations Robin you are a great person and won the right way.
