Such a beautiful article about Cassidy's faith, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Many of us have heard about the tragic event in Texas to the Stay family. So what happens when the world turns dark? How do we find our way out?|By John Huntinghouse

Since I feel like this page has definitely fulfilled its purpose, this is going to be my last post unless something majorly awesome happens. Please feel free to write any messages on the wall of love and encouragement to Cassidy in hopes that one day she might look back on this and find some comfort and strength.
Thank you all for your support of this cause!
Cassidy, if you're reading this, we love and support you! Thank you for your amazing example of faith, love, and endurance.

J.K. Rowling continues her summer streak of new Harry Potter material with a short story about Celestina Warbeck, a minor character from the series who is inspired by Welsh singer Shirley Bassey.

"Do not pity the dead, Harry, pity the living. Above all, pity those who live without love. By returning you may ensure that fewer souls are maimed and fewer families are torn apart."

Thank you all for the amazing support we've received this past week! None of this could have happened without you!

Considering the circumstances under which I created the page, I will not be giving out any information regarding Cassidy. She's a little girl who needs to be consoled, not interviewed.

Okay, so the fact that this has made it to The Daily Mail has me excited. I'll admit it.

J.K. Rowling has written to a Texas teenager who found strength in the words of a Harry Potter film after her entire family were shot dead.

Here's a link to further help Cassidy.

6 of the 7 family members of the Stay Family were taken from our community in a horrific and violent tragedy on July 9th, 2014. Stephen & Katie Stay along with 4 of their 5 children were lost in a horrible domestic violence event that left only their 15 year old daughter (Cassidy Stay) the sole...

I found this man on 7th Avenue in Park Slope. He was leaning heavily on his cane, looking down, wearing a grimaced face. I felt bad for him, so I smiled and w...aved when I walked past. His face changed completely. He lit up, smiled wide, and gave me a cheery greeting. There was nothing forced about it. He seemed like a man who went through life looking for the smallest excuses to be happy.

I walked 50 feet down the sidewalk, turned around, and walked back to him. "I want to take your photo," I told him, "because of how big you smiled when I walked by."

He said: "Well I saw someone smiling at me who I didn't even know. So I thought: 'By God! I Better do something!'"

With all this media attention, it's easy to get wrapped up in the excitement of it all and forget the real purpose of the site. I truly hope that one day J.K. Rowling will meet Cassidy and that Cassidy will know how much people care about her and are rooting for her happiness and sense of peace. Cassidy, we love you so much! All of this is for you!

"Rowling was made aware of the story through an Internet campaign." Good work, everyone!

After an absolutely wonderful 2 days, I'm ending the evening with Harry Potter 7 part 2. Thank you all so much for the incredible support this page has received! This couldn't have happened without every one of you. Keep sharing!

The lone survivor of a shooting that left her entire family dead received a special letter in purple ink from J.K. Rowling after the 15-year-old quoted Albus Dumbledore at her family's memorial service last month.

This is nuts!

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” It’s one of Harry Potter’s most famous and oft-quoted lines, said by Dumbledore in the series’ third film, and in July, it was used by a teenage girl at the memorial service of her murdered family.
