Danielle Lee doesn't recommend Wild Earth.

that is the most ridiculous and irresponsible concept I have ever heard. It sounds like something you would read on the Onion. lab created mouse meat and vegan protein for pet foods. Jurassic park on the Island of Dr Morroe with Andrew Zimmer hosting a dinner party...

Marianne Hatfield recommends Wild Earth.

Sounds intriguing. Why not feed animals healthy vegan food?

I was very excited about another upcoming vegan companion animal food company. However, the most recent article up in Forbes states that you will use animal cell cultures in the cat food. Obtaining cell cultures is still an exploitative/non vegan process, and although less animals suffer than in meat production, it is still highly unnecessary and contributes to animal abuse.
Less abuse =/= acceptable.
It's already been shown and proven through 100% vegan friendly cat foods such as Evolution Diet, Ami, VegeCat, VeganCat, and Benevo, that cats can thrive on a plant based diet. There is no excuse for this.

This seems like a great sustainable solution for pet food.

John Conner reviewed Wild Earth1 star

At this time I'll be giving you guys 1 star bc I've attempted to contact you via your web page and it's "contact" function twice with no response from your company. I contacted V-Dog with questions about their formula as well and they answered me in under 24 hours.

Judging by the lack of response from you I'm seeing on here as well I would guess y'all aren't too concerned with your customers. Add the fact that you're using lab grown meat in your cat formula and you guys look... a lot more like venture capitalists than ethical vegans.

Since I'm already here, I'll ask the question again that's gone unanswered twice.

What about mycotoxins or aflatoxins in your food considering you're using a fungus as the protein? How do you assure that these things don't make it to the final product, or do you assure that?
