I met this couple this morning. Beautiful people providing beautifull
y crafted foods. I tried the Brussels sprouts , then i eyeballed the sauerkraut ! No need to try it i just knew it was going to be... amazing I just arrived back home and made my own little reuben sandwich. But before I get to that understand that I grab the fork and went right into that sauerkraut I shared a spoonful with each of my dog's who also enjoyed it. Life is grand. I just want to send out a big thank you to this wonderful family that is providing these nutritious Foods. I'll be back for more!
I love Windswept Acres! Pam and Dave are the best. I've been enjoying their products since they joined Prescott Farmers Market, more than a year ago now. They are always bringing something new to the ...market. They have an amazing variety of pickled veggies and eggs, as well as jellies and pork products. It always feels good to buy and eat their food, because I know it's made with local ingredient
s and lots of love ♥ OMG, so good!
I just finished off a jar of Eclipse Pears. Never did I ever think I would eat pickled pears. I not only did I eat them I loved them! Perfect balance of sweet and tangy with just the right mount of sp...ices. SO DANG GOOD! Thank you Pam and Dave!!!
While wandering about the Flagstaff Farmers Market I happened across the friendly folks of Windswept Acres. Everything
looked good but I was in the mood to take home some fresh farm raised pork. I w...as initially concerned when I saw that there were only 1lb packages (I'm only one person and that seemed a bit excessive) . However I asked for a smaller package and instantly a package with four beautiful pieces of thick cut bacon emerged. These are thicker cut than you can find at most delis. The price was perfect as was the meat. I took it home and cooked it up a couple days later. As soon as I opened that package you could smell the slight smokiness without it being overwhelmi ng. Remember folks- this is the best bacon you may ever eat. Cook it low and slow and take your time. Don't burn the goodness. I'm excited to go back on Sunday and find another product to try!
It makes me feel so good to know I'm eating from animals that were loved, taking care of, helped and everything
in their products shows it.
Their Quail eggs were absolutely
delicious. I told myself "I will not eat this whole jar". I ended up eating both jars haha. Do your yourself a favor a order some Windswept Acres Quail Eggs. You will ...not be disappoint ed
The pickled asparagus is soooo good... the only problem is stopping myself from eating all of it in one sitting!
