I purchased this S6 a month ago. I took it to koh samui, thailand. Stop near seaside to take photo with family. But suddenly this S6 flew high up to the sky about 8 level of building. It make couple o...f orbit turn before it fly into a deep sea. I have calibrate all and prepare everything before i flew it. Do you think all people not properly check everything before flying? Now what left to me is battery and charger. What am i gonna do with this? Burn it out of course. I have post this matter to S6 group owner. Sick. See More

I have recently purchased an s6.
I have a phantom 2 v+ v3, an xk detect x380-c and a 3dr solo go pro for most aerial photography. However, I keep this wee drone in my pocket nearly everywhere I go no...w.. It's excellent for those moments I just would never have been practical to be carrying the larger birds. It's videos and especially photos are of more than good enough quality for those impromptu moments, great for pre-planning later dates for bringing my bigger quads too.
It's great for some of my work too, where I can video roof tiles and brickwork on clients houses to give them a true record of work required and work done. So, when not in my pocket during leisure time it has become a valuable addition to my tool box.
I can't manage to use the follow me yet, but it's not something I would use it much anyway.
My only wish would be longer flight time, though in reality I imagine a larger drone for bigger battery would defeat the purpose.
Looking forward to the release of proper remote control.
Keep up the good work Wingsland and keep on with more and more functionality updates.

I got an orange S6 drone that had quality issues but Wingsland stood behind the drone and replaced it. Once I have it back I will update but service wise the company was 5 star standing behind their p...roduct which is hard to find at other places nowadays. See More

I have the Minivet just bought it. Flight was consistent and hover was stable.

All seemed good but now my Gimbal is dancing, the image turned on it's side and after a FW update and 10 calibrations, N...O good. Any tips on how to completely re-initialize the Gimbal? How to I change the image orientation? See More

Finally, a dry day without big winds to get out and fool around with the S6. Fun times. Got some newb backyard video plus some flying high and wide experience. Haven't figured out the follow me and... circle modes just yet (batteries ran low).

Look forward to the R6 controller release for longer range flight -- concerned that 10 minute flight time doesn't allow for going too far away... Wish there might be some sort of compatibility with the controller and other quads -- "one controller to rule them all" type deal... See More

I picked up a Scarlet Minivet during a recent sale at Neweggcom I've been looking at a lot of drones over the last few months and I wanted one with FPV, 1080p with a gimbal for filming. The drone looks fabulous but the app doesnt work with ios 10, that's shit. I have the S6 since 3 to 4 Weeks but couldn't fly a second. Pleas fix that with a update soon.

Great little drone for calm days. Easy to take off and land. Even though battery life is shorter than my Phantom, I can get the shots I need easily.

An absolute great company! They're new to the scene but the products are top notch! I personally have the Scarlet Minivet and it's an amazing drone for the price. It has all the features of the oth...er brands and honestly i believe the build quality is better. These guys know what they are doing! Customer service is great also. I needed a few parts for mine and they got back to me very quickly. Awesome company to work with and I highly recommend them. See More

The S6 is a nice, small, folding selfie drone and I am impressed with the build quality. But if you are into sport flying the S6 is not for you. Control response is very sluggish but adequate to maneu...ver it into position to shoot a photo. The 4k camera shoots great photos but I would not recommend it for shooting videos. The electronic stabilization is not adequate for video - jerky unless you have zero wind. Altitude hold is just adequate; I have seen it move up and down as much as 4 meters. But mine is the outdoor edition without VPS so I guess it is relying on the barometric altimeter. GPS position hold is quite good with very little lateral drifting. See More
