The moment when Bellingham City Council voted 7-0 to purchase a recreation and conservation easement for Galbraith Mountain to ensure public access forever and ensure no development will ever take place... So, yeah, today was a good day!! 😁🍻🤟🚲 Huge thanks to the City of Bellingham staff, Galbraith Tree Farm and Whatcom Land Trust for this partnership. More details tomorrow!

December 4th trail update folks, - Become a Member in December and support the WMBC for as low as $35! https://wmbcmtb.org/decembermembershipdrive/ - We are looking at tweaking the parking lot design and capacity. - Timber cutting is done, but there are still a few stacks of logs to get hauled out. - Cabin and Goldilocks are still impassable / totally closed. We will be in there flagging the lines to clear in the next couple of days and will let folks know when we need help. - SST is passable minus a few trees to cut off the trail and some minor dirt work to do. (Be careful, but we’ll have a few of us up there tomorrow late morning). - 4 crews were working last weekend on the Pigs extension, The Ridge and Miranda, Grasshopper and the advanced cedar dust jump line. - More traildays to be added soon to the calendar. - Comditions are firm and crunchy in the woods and a bit soft and squishy in the sunny clearcut areas. Get some!

Home away from home. Like Gillard in Kelowna with some Whistler MTB park mixed in. Can't get any b...etter than that : ). Super friendly riders as well. Good thing as I always seem lost. You can never do too many dirt jumps... See More
My sons and I have been going up here pretty much every weekend for a while now. Trails are excellen...tly maintained. People volunteering for WMBC are all just so friendly. See More
