The fest is in cinncinati oh. I know its far but if you guy got chosen they pay you 500 bucks and could lead to extending your career . You guys rock and think they would love you guys . Ya wanna know one thing that's great about being a Woodshed Prophet?... (Well, I'm not one, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night). But based on my own personal experience playing in bands who played original music, to be playing your hearts out on stage and to look out at the audience and most everybody (including the other bands/musicians in the house)...every-freaking-body is singing along to your original songs. This Friday night (6/20)... the WPs return to the best little music town in Upstate NY, when they perform two rocking sets at Norwich's own Blarneystone Pub!!! Start time is around 9:30. We'll see you there!!!

Performing live at Rock in the Park this year will be National Recording Artist Chris Janson and National Recording Artist Daryle Singletary! For the 3rd year in a row local band Woodshed Prophets ...will also be performing! Also performing is Norwich resident and former American Idol Contestant Kaitlyn Jackson! All proceeds will benefit Chenango County Toys for Tots. The event will feature approx 40 vendors/crafters. New this year is the addition of the "Children's Area" which is being sponsored by Commerce Chenango. For more details, please check out the link on facebook...

Today... Sunday (6/8) Rob and Ed's side-project Ramble Run will be at it again, when they travel to the Sea-Hag in Brackney, PA. Stop in for a set of acoustic goodness. And be sure to say hello to the WP's own Bird-Dog as he sits in for the day!!! Start time is around 2pm. And if you haven't had enough music for the day, be sure to stop up to the Brackney Inn afterwards. Rob, Ed, and Birdie will be playing a few sets there, as well hosting open mic starting at 5pm!!!!

It was a lively crowd at McGirk's Irish Pub last night. Thank-you to Tim and his crew for treating us so well... and thank-you to all who got out there and danced their a**es off!!!
