The rooms are very clean and very nice and comfortable except it would have been nice if they gave us a heads up that the pool was closed that is the reason why we stayed at this Motel we brought our ...8-year old daughter and she was some disappointed that the pool was not open especially during March break you figure they would have it open! So we were very disappointed other than that the rooms are very nice and clean! See More

Hotel was very nice and clean, staff very pleasant and breakfast was good, unfortunately we showed up the same time as a very large group of kids and parents. The kids were running the halls and stair...cases for most of the night....who knows what the parents were doing. This spoiled what would have been a wonderful stay. See More

I really liked this place. Very clean. Friendly staff. The shower/bath was sparkling clean. The pool was clean. The price was low. I'd stay here every time. An hour and five minutes from the falls. No...t much to do around here, but we were here to rest before going back home to Michigan. See More

The hotel was immaculate, and comfortable but what really made this a great experience was the staff. Everyone at this location was amazing. My son and I will certainly be returning again!

Stayed for a night with our Dragon Boat Team members the " Breast Buddies". The rooms where comfortable, clean and the beds gave us a good nights rest. Loved the staff, they treated us like family. Ke...ep smiling. See More

I stayed here on October 2nd for the first time. I was with 3 friends to attend a gospel concert at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church.
I would DEFINITELY Recommend this hotel to everyone !!
Beautif...ul decor...Very clean and quiet. All the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.
Complimentary breakfast was delicious.
I'll be back the next time I'm in Woodstock ☺

I've actually stayed there several times on business trips. Each time I have a great experience. Clean, freindly, spacious, quiet, near by restaurants, and stores. I am always very happy when I'm there.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel from Dec 28th (late check in) till Jan 1st (very early check out!) The staff was very friendly which is expected at any hotel! First night staying was okay did...n't wake up throughout the night like I did the other 3 nights after. The second night I woke up and also I woke up my girlfriend demanding something was biting me, we checked the beds and we didnt see anything and went back to sleep the next morning I had bite marks (only afew) on my arm we checked the bed again and nothing that we could see! We carried on with our day visiting my family for the holidays and for the new year we never stayed at the hotel during the day it was more of a shower, eat breakfast get ready for the day and sleep. The 3rd night we went to bed early as we had a busy day and was over tried and we slept through the whole night without waking up. The final night (new years eve) we got ready and left to do shopping and spend time with my family then was out for new years we came back to the hotel after midnight and slept we woke up around 7am and once again I woke up feeling burning on my back and VERY itchy and more bites this time on my back and both arms we checked the bed and I seen a bug under the sheets not knowing what it was we kept looking lifting up the blankets and pillows to find another few bugs I was able to get one and put it in a water bottle cap and wrapped it with a bag. Looking up on the internet "bed bugs" it was a match to what we found being very upset about the situation we bag all the clothing and items that we had on the floor, bed and couch not knowing if these bugs would get into our clothing or items and we could bring them home which was a HUGE fear for us, after doing so we went to the front desk very upset and showed the bug I had in the water bottle cap to the reception she was just as grossed out as we were she told us she was going to go upstairs to check the room for herself, we waited tops 10 mins till she came back down and said "yes the room has bed bugs" I was very upset and told her this is unexpectable for many reason at this point words can't explain how uncomfortable my skin felt and how itchy and gross I felt she told me she was going to call her manager (Ravi ponnudurai) to see what she can do after a couple minutes she came back and said she will refund us our stay, but I would have to call expedia because I had booked my stay through them so at that moment I called expedia after about 15 minutes being on the phone with them they had told me that they spoke to the hotel and they will only refund us 1 night because we never let house keeping come into the room, I was very upset with this because we didn't need house keeping for many reasons. We are adults we know how to make a bed, our room was not dirty as we are not dirty humans we put out the garbage every morning to be changed and requested new towels (which the staff didn't bring when I called them requesting it, I had to go to the front desk and all I got from the staff was "oh god I forgot" lucky I didn't need towels at that time) also some people can relate.. I've had items stolen from a hotel before (staying in los vegas) which has made me NEVER regardless of where I am have anyone go into my room with my personal belongings without me there again which I feel like I should not have to justify to expedia or best western why I had the "do not disturb" on my door. After expedia realizing I had a valid point then tried to point the fingers at my girlfriend and I saying we could of brought them in which made the situration worse and made me even more upset he refused to refund us our full nights stay like the front reception said we would get because of the do not disturb being on the door our stay being very upset on the phone with expedia and the gentleman I was speaking to told me because how upset I was he would hang up on me which I found was POOR customer service this wasn't a ant problem or a broken shower this was BED BUGS in our bed what I have been reading online it would be in the carpets also this is something I could of easily brought home to my house after finishing up with the phone call from expedia with NO Help we left best western and went to my aunt's house and explain to my aunt what happened we had to bag everything in plastic bags for our drive home to Toronto my girlfriend and I had to bring everything we had to the laundry mat the same day and dry cleaners (the day after) as we got back spending $80+ each on washing our clothing, jackets and shoes etc we both threw away both our suitcases and gym bags to be safe. We've tried to call the manager multiple times and we have not received a phone call back I've called best western again explained what happened and was told someone will either call me or email me and once again nothing no-one has contacted me back and it's been 5 days, at this point I've contacted my family lawyer and explained what happened and this is how I'm going to have to take care of this situration we've lost 2 suitcases and 2 gym bags (well over $600 not including the expenses of the laundry mat and dry cleaners) I am posting all this in hoping this will get the attention of expedia and best western which they do not want to contact me back. I DO NOT want anyone to go through what myself and my girlfriend went through never in my life have I came across bed bugs or SLEPT in a bed with these bugs. I've had to go to my family doctor to get cream for the bites on my arms and my back. PLEASE NO ONE STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU DO!!! YOU BETTER CHECK THE BEDS. I've always stayed at the quality inn when I come down to Woodstock this time they were all booked I will never again stay at this hotel nor ANY best western again!! I've seen afew reviews online after the fact about bed bugs being at best western in Ontario and never again. See More
