Stopped in because the store front reminded me of being a kid :) I couldn't leave.... jacks, Monchichi, Frida kahlo socks, music boxes, Trump TP, 3d cards, old skool lunch boxes, hard to find board ga...mes, friendly staff, not the cheapest place in the world but well worth it for the priceless memories you get and can give to those behind u. I love this place. Between this and Mongrel - within a block of each other! - the best of RVA whimsy is on full display. The folks at World of Mirth are always happy to help you find the exactly right... wild thing, be it a toy, a fridge magnet, a game, or something that's just the right kind of weird. A great store for the young and young at heart. I love what excellent customer service I get in the store, you just can't get that kind of help online or at a big box store. The staff of warm and frie...ndly toy experts will make sure that you bring the coolest present at the birthday party, and I love that they have non-gender specific toys. This place is the shizzle. I walk in, tell any of the sweet, thoughtful staff members the age of the child/inner age of the grownup I'm buying for, and walk out with a fabulous gift and a general feel...ing of hope even on a bad day. Way to go WoM 👏👏👏 See More
