"This isn't a car show. IT'S AN EVENT!"
THEY DID IT! Yakima's own Melvin and Brian Cherry WON Best Traditional Homebuilt in the nation from Goodguys and Speedway Motors. They first won their category at last summers Goodguys event in Puyallup and was nominated for this national award that was secured by all the votes placed for them. The car is a 29 Ford Model A sedan with a flathead that was built in a carport. Awesome job boys!
Hey fellow Hot Rodders. Our own Yakima Hot Rodders Mel and Brian Cherry are up for a national award from Goodguys. At the Puyallup show they won best traditional built with their SUPER COOL Model A. Goodguys has a voting contest taking all the winners in each division from all their shows nationwide. The Cherry's car right now is in 2nd place. Please go to the link (posted below) and vote and put this YAKIMA hotrod in 1st place!! Link : https://www.good-guys.com/traditionalbuilt-vote
