Last week we launched our 8th (!!!) semester of the Aileen Getty of Citizen Journalism. Over 250 people came together online to talk about their similarities, their differences and what they want for the future. Over the next four months they'll learn how to write blogs, take photos and compose photo essays and create videos while also gaining skills in negotiations and peacebuilding. We can't wait to see what this semester will bring! Here's why Afef, a Tunisian alumni from last semester decided to join the program:
