Marta Auerbach5starGreat school, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Janapese but also for those who want just to discover Ja...panese language and culture. The school proposes various programs, teachers are professional, serious but at the same time kind and patient. Yamasa's staff is always there when you need them, doing maximum they can to help. The school proposes their own accommodat ion of different kind so coming here becomes much less complicate d. The location of the school is also good, everything is very close so no need of public transport. See More
Joyce Jasmine Wu5starI like Yamasa School language and culture program. . Staff are very friendly to answer students' questions. My teachers ...are very patient and kind. Culture classes are hands on to let students experience Japanese culture deelply. Tour field trip is also a wonderful experience to understand deelply. Students talk in Japanese during clases and also talk with teachers during lunch time. I like this quiet city town , very convenient and easy access to Nagoya. I am very satisfied !! See More

The YAMASA community blog is now up and running!
You can access it at:
... This weblog has been set up to give future and past students of the YAMASA Institute, in addition to the general public, a chance to express their opinions on all manner of things Japanese language related as well as provide a hub in which to share information about The Yamasa Institute, Okazaki and Japanese life. In general, we like to believe that the YAMASA experience does not merely end in the classroom and this blog is a natural extension of this philosophy.
Over the next little bit, keep an eye on the blog as YAMASA exclusive articles (such as this one: https://yamasainstitute.wordpress.com/…/everything-zen-by-…/) and vlogs as well as articles sourced from other sites will be posted.
YAMASA students are also welcome to submit articles to Glen from CS to be published on the blog. Please bear in mind that all posts displayed on the blog must comply with YAMASA's internet use guidelines.

❏A very satisfied Ethan after completing his Japanese style kite. The design that he is proudly displaying in this photo is of a Japanese style tumbling doll. The colors were added by Ethan himself and he did a very good job if we do say so ourselves.
It was also a great experience as everyone managed to speak a lot of Japanese!
