A beautiful and relaxing experience. The most generous and friendly hosts, and so much excellent foo...d! Our host could not do enough for us from driving to and from the Yunohira station each day so we could visit Yufuin which is an interesting historic township and to Oita to watch the RWC. The rooms are immaculately clean and the 4 private onsen baths are delightful. Highly recommended by two Aussie travellers who will never forget the wonderful warm family who run this ryokan. Wonderful experience with Yamashiroya (山城日式旅館) during our visit to Yunohira onsen this Nov. It’s a v...ery traditional Japanese Hot spring hotel. This is the best stay for me in Japan, the hotel room got a private hot spring and wonderful size of... living room and bedroom with a small garden. The dinner and breakfast is also wonderful and provide a really relaxing experience. Staffs very polite and helpful. Surely a very good hotel to relax.
