Sahar Zaman is an independent NewsAnchor, arts journalist & curator. At present, she anchors the news for Mirror Now, writes on art & design for The Quint, cura...tes art shows on news worthy issues. She has been invited to speak at TEDx on her contribution to arts journalism and efforts to bring it to mainstream media. Past associations as news anchor, correspondent, producer and writer includes - CNN-News18 (CNN India), Bloomberg TV, etc.Her exclusive half hour programmes includes shows on Anish Kapoor, MF Husain in Dubai, a sting operation on the fake art market in India, special art investment series on India’s top contemporary artists like Subodh Gupta, Mithu Sen and Sonia Khurana. She has also been invited by Dawn News in Pakistan and Young Asia TV in Sri Lanka to speak about the role of journalism and art in India and its significance in the subcontinent. In Australia, she was Special Guest for a show titled ‘Spirit of India’ that aimed to address the growing concerns of worsening Indo-Oz relations.She uses up her spare time in giving lectures in Universities and art galleries on the art market, television news and arts journalism.
