Shelby Township Police Department is the latest Michigan agency to go live with a CrimeMapping system. “This is the 21st century of policing,” Shelby Township Deputy Police Chief MarkCoil said. “People want to be informed in real time of what is going on in their neighborhoods. It’s an easy-to-use program that provides transparency to our community.”
