Harvest time! We got a substantially larger yield this year with the cascade plants in their new planters - this is about a quarter of the cones we picked. If anyone would like some Brooklyn grown wet hops, let us know!
Hop disaster! Last week's storm bent the steel posts we were using as a trellis for our Cascade bines like they were twigs. Fortunately the resilient buggers have just kept on growing. Time to get these guys all dried up!
